In 2018, Major League Baseball and HBO renewed their partnership ahead of the eighth season of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones® Nights is a night where select ballparks host a special themed night that fans can enjoy by dressing up as their favorite character, take a photo in front of the Iron Throne, or receive a bobblehead of their favorite player as a Game of Thrones character.

The goal of this animated spot was to get fans excited by recreating a baseball rendition of the show’s iconic opening credit sequence.
